Friday Night Lights..

Friday we went to the first Willis Football game of the season. This was something that Zach had been talking about for days and trust me there was no let down in the game. Willis got a new coach over the summer and they were looking for a WIN!



Brenden became first chair which ment he was going to be more responsible this year for learning spots and helping the freshmen.. plus he got a very visable spot in the drills.

Well at half time we thought oh no not another season of losses..



But the band did a great show and Brenden did very well! We are so proud of him. I could get some close up but the were blurry due to the stands so I will work on that during the season but he are some of the pictures I took.

Well the next half won and I'm not sure what the coach told the boys but it work we ended up winning the game!! This was their first win in 26 games!

So next week is Spring Dekaney lets hope we can make it two in the row!!

Bird feeder and Zoe!!

Zachary made a bird feeder today for the letter B in school. He was so excited about it and couldn't wait to put it up when we got home. So Tim put it up for him when he got back from his walk. Here are some pictures of it and him.

While we were out there he decided to love on Zoe he told me that she was his bestest buddy.. it was so sweet he just loved all over her.



We have our first football game for Brenden tomorrow. Zach is so excited about going and seeing brother in the band and seeing the football players and eating popcorn (that is what he has been telling me since he found out it was time again for football).

I'm sure I will take some pictures so I will put some on this weekend.

Sick little Zachary..

Zachary was sick yesterday. Tuesday he told me that he didn't feel good but he tells me that some times so I thought he was just tired well when I picked him up his teacher told me he told her the same thing but he started playing so she thought he was ok. well he came and got in bed with us and he was just talking and kicking in his sleep then about 2:30 he woke up and was crying and complaining about his ear so I still had some ear drops from the last time so I put some in and decided well I will take him to the doctor since his nose was running Tuesday also, plus I remembered that I didn't take him for his 4 year old visit. Well when I called to make an appointment they told me they didn't have time for a well child visit but I could bring him in for the ear. So we went to the doctor and sure enough he had a double ear infection and an upper respiratory infection because our doctor has a student in the office he got checked twice which meant he got two stickers.. didn't bother him. So I asked if he would be getting a shot this time and she said yes. Well when we got in the truck he goes I get a shot like Zoe? I said yes like Zoe did and he goes but daddy shoot the snake and I through it in the garbage. So I then had to explain that yes he was getting a shot like Zoe but that his was going to make him big and strong and he says but I am big and strong and I said yes you are but this is going to make you big and stronger.. (after Zach's birthday Zoe got bit by a snake and I had to take her to the animal hospital because we didn't notice it until after the vets where close so he remembered that we told him that she went to the doctor and got a shot to make her feel better and about Tim shooting the snakes well that is what he does every time he sees one and so he remembers that). Anyways he seems better today still looks a little white and has a runny nose but didn't have a fever so I took him to school.

Quick story - New Game

Tim told me the other day that they had a new game out for the Wii that he thought we should get for Zach. Well today between getting a haircut and waiting for brother they stopped and picked it up...should have knew they were up to no good! Anyways it is the Little League World Series it is actually pretty cool. You can actually run around the bases and try to field the balls. Zach is doing well except for forgetting to shake the remote which makes the player run. He has actually won both of the game against brother. He is loving this game.

This weekend

Well we had a great weekend started out Friday with Chips and Cheese and Rice as Zach's says or Mexican food, this is probably his favorite going out to eat meal. Then we went and saw DziaDzia and Grandma at there house so we could get DziaDzia's trailor for the deer stands Tim will be taking to the deer lease next week. Saturday the boys woke up earily for their big boy day. Zach had a birthday party at 10:30 in Palestine TX for Hannah and then they were going to see Nanny and Paw-Paw (Tim's parents). It is my understanding that Zach got all made up with make up because there were so many girls there (I can't wait to see the pictures!! I will share them when I do!) Tim and Zach said they had a great day together. While they were there I got to have a day to myself I did a little shopping and then Deb came by and we went to see Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Leann Rimes, Gary Allen and Luke Bryan at the Poets and Pirates Tour at Reliant Stadium. It was so much fun and really good to spend some time with my little sissy! Thanks Deb for taking me! Today we have been just hanging out you know watching the Olypics...I'm telling you it is bad around here..in fact we are watching it now. We did take a break and Zach and Tim play a little tennis, baseball, golf and Mario Kart on the Wii. I took a couple pictures of that. Hope everyone had a good weekend!

XXIX Summer Olympics

Ok the Olympics are additive in the Johnson house. I have always watched the Olympics but my watching has gotten to the point of being additive. I remember 4 years ago when Zach was born they were in Athens and it was so much fun to watch and because I was on maternity leave I got to watch it all times of the day. Now that he is 4 even his has found the Olympics additive. Tim tried to watch something different today like football and Zach goes...I watch the Olympics turn it back. I've even got him chatting "USA..USA" I know I'm telling you it is bad!! When Michael Phelps won in the relay he was even going around the house with his mouth wide open and his fist in the air just like him. We have enjoyed the swimming so much that he is jumping off the couch and into the "water" (carpet) and swimming and USA has been winning! But we do not just enjoy the swimming we have watched pretty much everything that has been on and every channel that it has been on. And don't think we are just going for or watching USA the other day were were watching China vs. Poland volleyball and we were going for Poland (unfortunately they lost). It has been so much fun I don't know what we will do when the Olympics are off. Oh and one last note we even have Zoe (our beagle dog) watching the Olympics...yesterday she decided to fight a snake and well she lost and her nose was all swollen so I took her to the animal hospital and well we decided it might be best if she stayed in the house for few days and so we have her were she can watch TV (the Olympics) all day. She is doing much better today the swelling has went down and you can hardly tell anything.

Pirates Party!!

Well we had our 4th birthday party yesterday. We had lots of fun with Nolan, Hannah, Kara, Calyn and baby Max! They played on the waterslide and ate the Pirate Ship cake and ice cream. Thanks to all who came! Here are some pictures from the fun day.

Friday!!

It's Friday and I was home today because I had some blood work to do for my sugar and then I wanted to spend some time with Zach and Mam-Maw. Mam-Maw came yesterday and will be staying until Sunday we are so excited to have her. Right now her and Zach are playing Captain Hook and Peter Pan.. it is really cute. This afternoon he wanted to play games (on the Wii) and if you have ever played on it then you know that you can make your own people well Zach decided that we had to have one of Mam-Maw so we made one of her he thought it was so cool. We are getting ready for the birthday party tomorrow it should be fun we hope that it will not be too hot for the kids but hope they have fun on the water-slide. Well I will go for now I will try to put some pictures up of the party tomorrow night.

One more week till Zach's birthday...and will Edouard come already..

Well we have one more week until Zach turns 4! He is SO ready for his pirate party this Saturday. I just hope we have good weather since we will be having outside at the house. We are going to be putting up the water-slide and letting the kids have fun.

Tonight we are watching all of the weather reports to see if we will be graced with the presence of Mr. Edouard he is the Tropical Storm that popped up in the Gulf with in the last few days. As of now it still looks like it will be hitting Galveston they just don't know what time that will be yet. So we will see in the morning. Zach is wondering why Zoe's house (the crate) is in our house gets so I explained to him that it will be raining and we are going to be getting some wind he seemed ok with that and glad that Zoe will be in the house.

I will let you know how the Tropical Storm/Hurricane goes tomorrow.

Goin' fishin'

Tim has been wanting to take Zach fishing for a while now and well last week we went and got them both (and me or Brenden) a fish rod and all the stuff they would need to get a big one. Well Friday him took him and they both had so much fun Zach was telling about all of the sizes he got and telling me how many they got. So today they decided that I could come with them and I could bring my camera (yeah!!) so I took some pictures of them fishing. Zach loves going fishing with his daddy and I think he would go everyday if Tim would let him!
