Happy Halloween!!

Well Captain Hook got a lot of candy tonight. We walked the circle part of the neighborhood with Aunt Deb, Gram-maw and Ms. Linda (our across the street neighbor). Zach made a friend with another little pirate for part of the way and then met up with speed racer, a surgeon, and a vampire for the rest of the way. Boy he is just getting so big just last year he didn't want to ring the doorbells this year he was running to all of the houses. He didn't quite get that the lights had to be on until towards the end but it was a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures.

After we got through Trick-or-Treating we celebrated Gram-maw's birthday. Zach and I made her a cake last night. Zach put the cake mix (flour as he calls it), eggs, oil and water in and I turned on the mixer.

Trick or treat.....I'll smell your underwear...

So Monday we were eating dinner and Zach started singing Trick or Treat song you know:

Trick or Treat smell my feet
give me something good to eat
I don't care
I'll smell your underwear

We started laughing and said who taught you that..
"Kimberly" he said
oh.. well it really goes

Trick or Treat smell my feet
give me something good to eat
If you don't I don't care
I'll pull down your underwear

So now he sings that he will pull down your underwear.. I'm so proud!

Pre-Op appointment

Well it is all go for Zach's surgery on next Tuesday. We had to go and see the doctor to get all of our prescriptions for after the surgery and for the doctor to see if the ears were still infected. The left one looked great and the right one had a little wax but overall he looked good to go for Tuesday. After we left there we had to go and do some blood work..this was something we were not looking forward to but we just told Zach that we had one more place to go (we thought springing it on him was better then telling him). So we did the paperwork and then walked in the little room everything still seemed ok. So Tim sat in the chair and put him in his lap then they put the wrap around and about then Zach realized this was not going to be a fun visit...so they put the needle in and he looked at me and we told him that we had to do this so he could get his Nemos (tubes) put back in and his strawberries (tonsils - he saw the video with me and they looked like strawberries to him in that) taken out so he sat there and didn't cry or anything while they took two tubes. He even watched them! I couldn't believe he was so brave..esp when his Aunt Deb would have passed out (love you Deb!!) I really was unsure how he would act to this when he was a baby he was really good I was the one that was crying because they were taking blood or doing what ever to him but he had been through so much when he was born we guessed that he was just used to being poked on but this was 4 years later we didn't know if that would be the same or not. We told him we were really proud of him and we got him a treat (grape slush from Sonic - one of his faves).

Birthday Parties

We had two birthday parties on Saturday. The first one was for Calyn who is a friend of mines little girl. She turned 3 and had her party at Pump it up in The Woodlands. It was really fun it was another place that had lots of inflated things that they could bounce on and jump on. It was also really nice to see friends of mine from Anadarko and see their kiddos.

We also had a birthday party later that day for a little girl that is in T-ball with Zach and Nolan. This was at a place in the back of The Woodlands, it was like a gym so they had lots of activities for them to play. It was really neat and different and Zach loved it.

T-ball game 5

This Saturday we had our 5th T-ball game. The other team only had 5 players so this was a quick game but it was fun. We had a game tonight but Tim and I decided that since it was going to be so cold out and we have pre-op stuff tomorrow we were going to skip the game so he doesn't get sick. This next Saturday is our last game of the season we are thinking this will be his last time at the Y, we are thinking we are going to put him in Tomball Little League next year.

Here are a few pictures from the game.

Willis vs Waller

Well another victory for Willis!! The team did a great job as usual we went in to halftime behind but came back and whipped up on Waller. Since our first quarterback broke his leg at homecoming and well the other two they had were very good they brought up the freshmen quartback and boy we should have had him from the beginning! He was really good and could throw that ball.

Zach yelling for the football team!!

The band did a great job on Tuesday they had went to regional and made a 1 which is the best you can get. Zach and I got to see part of their show (we tried to make it there before they started but we were a little late). That was so much fun to go to I hadn't been since high school and boy did it feel different being in the stands instead of out on the field. Luckily after Willis was Spring HS (where I went) so it was really fun to see them and tell Zach that I used to be in that band in the colorguard.

So at the game the band did really well also this time I wanted to get some pictures where you could see the formations they make (they are a military band) so there are no close ups of Brenden this time.

Brothers aren't they handsome!

Halloween pictures

Zach and I went this afternoon to get his Halloween pictures done.. Halloween is my favorite time of year and are my favorite time to get pictures of him. So we went to Portrait Innovations and got a really good photographer who just made Zach laugh. I love this place because they take the pictures with out being stuck in one place so they can get up close to him or get on things to take the picture whatever they think will get them the best picture. Also I like them becuase it take about 20 mins to get your pictures and if you buy enough then you get the cd with all of the pictures. So I took his Halloween costume and his wranglers with a green shirt. We got lots of great photos and here are just a few.

Tubes Part II

Well I was called early Monday morning by daycare saying that Zach was complaining of his left ear bothering him.. so I decided it was time to go back to the Ear, Nose and Throat doctor that we went to for the first set of tubes. He had had double ear infections in July and again in August and they said then that they thought the tubes were coming out well the ENT doctor thought that they must have between August and September. And even though he was complaning of the left ear the right ear was infected also and he has had a runny nose (sinus) so he told me that we would need to put a new set of tubes in and we would need to also take out his tonsils. He also said that we may have to do the adnoles (spelling?) again since they can grow back (which I didn't know). So we will be doing this on my birthday (Nov 4) in two weeks. Which is only fitting since he had his first set put in on Tim's birthday almost 2 years ago. Please pray that this surgery helps him stop getting so many ear infections and helps him not get as many sinus infections like he has been having. I really hate to have to do this but hate for my baby to hurt also.

Gabby and Lia's Birthday Party!!!

Sunday Zach was invited to Gabby (who is my future daughter-in-law, turned 4) and Lia's (turned 6 and is a little Danielle) birthday party at Monkey Bizness..if you have never been there this place is great even the adults can play! What I liked about it was the fact that just your party was in this big room full of bouncy things and things to climb. It was a lot of fun and Zach talked about it all the way home. It was also nice to see my friend Danielle and meet her new hubby. I didn't take my new camera so these aren't the best pictures.

Scarecrow!!

Tim saw all the scarecrows around and thought that we needed one too! So him and the boys made one this weekend. It is so cute! We found a light that we put in the pumpkin head that changes colors at night it is so neat.

Punk-in Patch

Brenden, Zach and I went to the punk-in (as Zach says it) patch over here by the house. We had a great time picking out pumpkins for the scarecrow we put in the front yard. I got some really good pictures of Zach in the pumpkins even one of Brenden with Zach (this was not what he wanted to do but he really was a good sport about it!!) It really was a nice place but I think if we do it again I will definitly plan to have more time, we were kind of in a hurry to get back home so we didn't get to do the fun stuff that was there.

Found a good one!

T-ball game number 4!!

Well we are half way through the season. Only 3 games left! Zach did really well this week 3 big hits. He has really had a lot of fun at the games. I took a little video of him this week.

Tim was coach this week.

Willis vs Brenham

Well we lost our 2nd game of the year to Brenham. It was their homecoming so we figured they would play hard. It started out bad and after the first half didn't get any better. We lost 17-0. The Brenden was really good this week. They added the end of the show last week but since we were out of town this was our first time getting to see it. Boy was it good! They do still have some work to do on some lines but it really looked good. They will be competing at UIL again on Tuesday at the Woodforest Stadium in the Woodlands. I'm going to try to get off in time to go and watch them and I understand Spring is after them so I may have to check that out also!

Cute Video

I transferred the pictures off of my small camera and found a video I made of Zach singing before Hurricane Ike came.. thought I would share...

Boerne

Friday I flew to San Antonio and we met up with my mom, dad, Aunt Rosie and Uncle Bennie to go to the Annual Car Show in Boerne, TX (Northwest of San Antonio). This is always like our Fall Vacation. They line up the old cars up and down the Main Street. Usually the men check out the cars and the women shop (we also check out the cars). This is just a great weekend to get out and enjoy ourselves. So many beautiful cars that many people have worked long hours and many years. Here are a few of my favorite cars and a few of Zach's as you will see him in the pictures..

We have to put a picture of DziaDzia's car.. ('38 Chevy Coupe)

Here are a couple of Zach's faves

Here is just a cute picture I got of Zach there are always really cool places to take pictures around there
