Boerne Rod Run

For the past 5 years we have looked forward to the 2nd week of October because that means we are going to Boerne!  We go for a car show or as they call it Rod Run we go in our truck but my dad and uncle drive their old cars.  It is a great relaxing weekend.  We drive up on Friday and then Saturday we check out all of the cars and do some shopping!  It is so fun to see the pictures I have taken since we first started going up there.  Zach was just a little over a year old when we started and he really just started walking and now well he is 6 and all boy (and this year he wanted to hang out with the boys).  We had a blast as normal but the weekend just flew by. 

I have so many pictures of many of the cars that were out there so this year I decided to take pictures of the cool emblems.. here are a few I got.

Weekend at Boerne!

No no dead man for those who caught the reference to the movie "Weekend at Bernies".

This weekend we went to Boerne, Texas which is Northwest of San Antonio. We always have a great time there with Gram-maw, DziaDzia, Aunt Rosie and Uncle Bennie. This weekend we just had to deal with a little weather but Saturday was nice so we got some great pictures of the cars.

They always have a slient auction with things from the stores and then just car things that people donate. Well it was a little dark in the tent they had the stuff in and they had a framed picture with lots of little pictures well Dad had gotten a flashlight in his grab bag so Zach decided to put it to good use helping people see all of the pictures. This is him helping Aunt Rosie and Uncle Bennie
