Rylan's 1st birthday!

I got the chance to do some pictures for Rylan's 1st birthday and I got to do what I have been wanting to do for a while that I had seen on another blog... check them out..

He LOVED the cake it was so fun to watch him just get it to it!

This has been a hard couple of weeks we got home from Daytona and found out that Tim's mom was battling cancer.  She is in Stage 4 right now and we are all hoping for the best.  This past weekend we went up to see her and to our surprise we got to meet the newest member of our family Jordan.  He is the son of my niece Corrie (Yes I'm a great aunt and this is not my first I have another great nephew - that is 8 hours older then Zach and a great niece) Anyways I did a few pictures for her since all of hers have been on her phone. 

Zach loved him and said he was his babysitter...he held him for a long time and didn't want to give him up!

Daytona!!!! Day One!

Ok let me first say this should have been on here last week but I have been busy busy... you will see... We actually did this trip Valentines weekend...


Tim and I were invited to go along with our friends Alan and Sherry to Daytona Beach, Florida to watch the Budweiser Shootout and to watch Sherry wave the flag for Kevin Harvick for qualifing on Sunday.  Let me just say we had an fabulous weekend!

It started Friday morning, we got up and got Zach off to school then Alan & Sherry came and picked us up.  We had a great trip we ended up having a little bit of a lay over in Charlotte which was great we ended up eating at a nascar themed cafe in the airport then it was off to Daytona!

After Dinner at Chili's it was time to try to make it over for the finish to the Budweiser Draw party..This is where the drivers learn where they will be running for the Budweiser Shootout.  They have a line of Budweisers bottles on a Bar and the drivers pick their bottle and then the bottle will have a number and that is what tells them the order they will line up.

End of Day one.. it was a great first day and we saw so much in that first day but little did we know what was in store for us the rest of the weekend!

It is time for Baseball season again and this year Zach will be a...

He is super excited about his new team and has had just two practices so far but has had a hit both times.. this year will be his first year without the tee.  Took a few pictures last night at practice and will try to get some one when I get a chance.

Snow day.. where's the snow.....

Well Zach and I are at home today because the roads are nasty and wet but not from the snow we were supposed to have today....UGH.. Zach was not happy this morning when he didn't see snow like he thought he was.  I woke up with a horrible sore throat.. we have been sick all week and today just capped off the week.  So once we got some pancakes and some medicine down us we decided to play with the new toys I got a few weeks ago..

No I didn't blind my child....with my new Light kit!!!  So excited to get to finally play with it today and that I had a subject that wanted his picture taken!  I had a few shots like this but then I got this...

I'm going to really have to start thinking about posing people.. I see lots of baby and toddler photos on the blogs I look at but I really need to figure out things for older kids.  But this was really fun and I was glad that he worked with me.. I think he looked at it like he had a new toy..
