You taught me how to tie my shoes!

Zach is trying to join the "I can tie my shoes club" at school so we have been practicing a little bit every week and he can get to making the bunny ears and then he has problems. Well last night we tried again and he finally figured out the hand you have the bunny ear with needs to grab the other ear and then pull. He did it and was so excited! He goes....you taught me how to tie my shoes! I tell you that was a proud moment for me it was just as good a that first step.

I'm so proud of him!

Vertigo

It is the sensation of spinning or swaying while the body is actually stationary with respect to the surroundings.

Vertigo is qualified as height vertigo when referring to dizziness triggered by heights.[citation needed] "Vertigo" is often used, incorrectly, to describe the fear of heights, but the correct term for this is acrophobia.

That is what our doctor is telling us Tim has right now. His was probably brought on by stress. He also said that Tim's heart will pump like normal and then spit..he said this is not a serious condition but this is why the EKG looked like it did.


Also got good news about the truck yesterday my problem was the rear differencal which is basically the rear-end they said that it was covered under warranty..Thank GOD! and they should be able to get the part today and fixed today.. So I should be out of the little Ford Focus soon.. thank goodness!

Snot rockets and hospitals

So this weekend was one that I hope I don't have again for a while! It started out Friday with Tim getting in my truck and saying there is something wrong with this thing.. when you gave it gas it just made a horrible sound and the more gas you gave it the worst it would sound. So Saturday morning Zach and I took it to Tomball Ford so it would be ready and waiting for them this morning. We ended up getting a black Ford Focus.. can you see me in a car.. pretty funny.. but hey it has a sun roof never had one of those before! Anyways Zach told Tim when we got home that we had a new car and he was excited about it. We just laughed and told him we were borrowing it until they got our blue truck fixed. So Tim said let go for a ride so we went to Old Town Spring to the car show where Dad and my aunt and uncle were and then Aunt Deb and Uncle Jon showed up so we went to check out the cars it was fun to be with everyone. Well when Deb and Jon were ready to go they asked if it would be ok for Zach to go home with them and they would bring him back later we said that would be fine. So we stuck around a little more then we went home and I went grocery shopping and Tim went across the street to help the guy with the rent house get some stuff done. Well when I got home I figured I would take some water over and make sure everything was ok. Tim saw me and was like you might want to get some clothes together for Zach and get the groceries up and I was like ok.. he didn't really sound like his self and well when he got home he told me that he wanted to go to the hospital that he was dizzy and blacking out and having chest pains.. this is not like Tim chest pains yes dizzy and blacking out no so I got everything ready and took him to the hospital in The Woodlands. Well they did an EKG on him and sent us to the back then it was like hurry up and wait and wait and wait more. They monitored him and thought maybe he was dehydrated but he told them he had plenty to drink and he had done more when it was hotter outside so he didn't feel that was what the issue was. We had gotten there about 3 and well about 8 we figure out we aren't going anywhere so I call Deb and ask if he can stay there and she said yes so she came by and got his clothes, she was laughing when I saw them and she goes did you get a new car? I go no my truck is messed up and we have a rental why? She goes Zach said you ran over a boy on a bike and he told her the boy said oh shit (which he got in trouble about) and he said the boy had snot rockets coming out of his nose.. where does the boy come up with this stuff.
Sunday morning they did about 7 test on him (stress test, etc) well everything came back negitive well about 6:30 we finally got out of there not knowing anymore then when we got there over 12 hours ago. We went and got Zach and again he told us about me running the boy over and snot rockets coming out of his nose.. silly boy.

Tim seems tired today but is feeling ok. He is going to our family doctor today at 3and then my heart doctor on Friday. Hopefully one of them will tell us what is going on. I will keep everyone updated.

Homecoming 2009

Friday night was Willis' Homecoming. The band and drill team performed before the game since halftime would have the crowning and everything. So we got there early. When we picked up Zach he told me that his friend at daycare helped him make a sign for Brenden so we took it with us and when the band walked around the track Zach was holding it up for him...



It was really cute! He was also excited because he got to wear his garter and he also had a new Willis shirt we made for him





Brenden and the band did really well. They added some more of the show this week and they looked great.









During 3rd quarter Brenden came and saw us like he always does, Zach showed him his poster and I had to get a picture of them with it.

How awsome is this...

If you have known me since I was a little girl then you would know when I was little I LOVED the HOUSTON OILERS! In fact my favorite player was Earl Campbell. I still have my Earl Campbell shirt and my pompoms so when I found this today I had to share.. I used to sing this song when they would play.

Nolan's Game

Saturday Zach and I went to see cousin Nolan's T-ball game, we had lots of fun but you could tell Zach was iching to get out on the field and play. I think we made the right decision letting him sit out this Fall, we just have a lot going on in the next few months and we wanted him to get used to all of the school stuff.

Guess What Time it is.....

That's right HOMECOMING!! This year Brenden has decided not to take anyone so you would think I would have it easy... Nope and that is fine with me! I made Brenden a garter...






























Then Zachary's.. and usually I make a small one for him but this year he decided he wanted one big like brother because he is a big boy these days...



and finally I thought Brenden's little sister Maddie might want one too..she just started Kindergarten also so I know she thinks she is a big girl...

Labor Day Weekend

I meant to post these last week.. We went up to Elkhart, TX over Labor Day weekend to hang out with our friends Mark, Melissa, their kids Erin and Eric and most of Melissa's family. We had a great time hanging out with all of them. We got to go fishing at their place which the kids loved and I got to meet Mark's sister who is also really in to photography. She gave me lots of tips and tricks, I'm sure I will be sharing with y'all!

Willis Vs New Caney - Our first WIN!!!

Go Wildkats! Finally our first WIN this season. What a great game we had. We were first surprised with a visit from my in-laws, this was their first game to see Brenden and we were excited they got to come. They had already been there a while and they ended up sitting by the band which was a change for us since we usually sit by the football parents (better pictures are on the 50 yard line) but it was a nice change. Saturday, Tim, Zach & I went back up to Conroe and got some homecoming stuff. Brenden has decided not to go to Homecoming this year but does want a garter and well I always make one for Zach also. This year I also decided maybe Maddie (Brenden's sister) might want a mum so I will also be making her a little something. So I have LOTS of stuff left from last year and the year before but you never know what kinds of new stuff they have so I went and got some more trinkets and ribbon and then I always need the garters and mums. After that we went and got Zach a new Wildkat shirt I won't say to much now about it once we get it I will take a picture. I hope it turns out cute! We got home and I organized the homecoming stuff and did a few other things and then mom and dad came by. They stayed for a bit and then left well when I went in Brenden's room where Zach was he was almost in tears and goes.. I want to stay with Gram-maw and DziaDzia.. I was like you should have said something.. then he goes.. will you call them and take me to their house? Well I let him call them and they ended up going to Spring Cypress to see the old cars so they came back by and got him.

That ended up making it easy for us Sunday when we went to a friend of mines to see her new baby. So we did that and what a cute little baby he is!!



Then we went to get Doodlebutt at Mom & Dad's. I called on the way and Zach answered the phone and almost talked my head off, which is not like him at all I was shocked and it was so cute! We got there and I took a few pictures of my dad's old car.

Another loss...Willis Vs Dekaney

Well it was another hard loss for Willis this week. But we did get to see our Big boy be drum major. I have never been more proud of him. He did so good our there leading the band around. He is actually Co-Drum major and the other one is one of his friends. Mom and Dad came out to support him also this was their first game to come to. Next week is our first home game hopefully we can have a win!
