Memorial Weekend

Let me say first Thank YOU to all of the service people who have given us our freedom and have continued to fight for our freedom.

This was a great weekend we spent it with some friends Mark and Melissa  in Elkhart, TX.  We had a great weekend of fun!  Lots of relaxing, talking and playing.  I also got to talk (and share) lots about photography and photoshop with Marla (Mark's sister - Hi Marla!) boy we could talk for hours and we did!  I got quite a few cute pictures of the kids but here are a few I got of Zach fishing and hanging out (and a few others).

Congratulations All Star!

I just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS to my Godson Blake! He made All Stars this year and Tim & I are so proud of him! This year I got to see a lot of his games and every game he just did so well!

First Wedding.... check

So I can check my first wedding off the list of new things to try to photograph.  This Friday I took pictures for a sweet couple.  The bride was a ex-co-workers daughter... did you get all of that?!?!  Anyways my friend has always loved my pictures and well she thought her daughter would too... so I had done them some Engagement Pictures for them to see if they wanted to use me.  I learned a lot from the experience and am so glad I got the chance.. I just want to show you a few as I'm still photoshoping them.. hope you enjoy..

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope that all the women reading this has a Happy Wonderful Mother's Day! I had a wonderful weekend with Tim and Zachary.  Friday I walked in the kitchen and what to I see.. purple tulips (my fave) and a little James Avery bag with this little guy....

isn't he cute!  Tim got me this one because when we first got married out kitchen was full of these little guys! Friday afternoon I picked up Zachary from school.  He was so excited and couldn't wait to show me what he made for me everything was so cute!  He colored a vase for me and made little flowers that when you pull them out they have things for him to do for me, then they had a little tea cup he colored and they had a tea bag in it and finally they had a little page that would have a sentence and then he completed it.. it was so sweet one of the things it said was My mommy always says.. he had "be good" that is what I tell him every morning when I drop him off.  We then went to the College Park vs Spring baseball game at Spring..you know while at Spring I never went to a baseball game!  It was really

fun and we enjoyed getting to hang out with Sandra, Kaylee and Nolan.

Then Saturday I went to get Zach's baseball uniform and what did I find in a James Avery bag hanging on the back of the uniform but this..

I loved it!  It reminds me of my baby Zachary!  He walked in when I found it and he goes I didn't get that.. so I asked who did and he goes.. The Easter bunny!  He is so silly!  After his game which I will blog about later we went and ate with The McEloys to a restaurant that was giving 10% of everyones dinner to TSC and if you bought Skylar's Mac N Cheese they gave 50% of that to TSC..

Make sure you go and check them out!  The chicken fried steak was so good!  The menu changes everyday based on what comes in fresh.  But the chicken fried steak I think is always on the menu.  Want to check out other reviews? Go here..

Then it was on the find something to wear to the wedding.  I found it at Chico's ended up getting two outfits and really love them both.  We got home early and watched the race and played with Zach.  This morning we got ready for church and what did Zach bring me but another James Avery bag and this time it had..

                                                   

I loved it but I love anything Texas!  And of course I got some really cute cards from Tim and Zachary.  So we went to church and The Koslosky's were there so we sat by them.  Afterwards we went to Kroger then came home.. I got a long nap and Tim and Zach rode the four-wheeler around.  I had a great weekend and loved all of my surprises.  Thanks so much for everything Tim and Zach you two are so special to me.

Tuesday's game against the Rangers

Tuesday's game was good.. we are back to winning again.. we've only lost one game all season.  They don't really keep track of the score but you know when the team wins and loses.  Zach got two more outs.. he is doing really good about getting people out.  I think we have grown up so much since last year you can just tell on the field that he is paying more attention to the game.  Hard to believe we only have 2 games left.. where did this season go?

After we were done with our game we went to see Blake.  Boy what a game he had!  When we got there he was up pitching and did very well.. Then they went out to the outfield and Blake went to play 2nd base and that is where he shined!  He made 3 outs boom..boom..boom.. I was SO PROUD of him!  It was great to see him do so well.  Here are some pictures that I got..

This is probably my favorite.. even though you can't see Blake's face I love that it is him in the background and then you see Zachary.

Weekend of baseball

Ok so it is Friday 5/7/10 but I'm going to tell you about last Friday's game.. It was humid and had rained most of the day but they kept the fields open.  Unfortunately we only had 5 kids on our team but it was a good game and Zach got 5 outs.. yes I said that right 5 he did really well. 

Saturday morning we got back up to the fields but first we got a picture with Brother who had come to see us play the night before.

to watch Blake play.  He did really well but we didn't get to stay for the whole game.  Here are a few pictures we took.

After Blake's game we went to Zach's game and he started as the pitcher and boy did he start out big!  He caught the ball then threw it to the 3rd basement and got another out!  It was great! The team was really into the game and did so well!

Two more weeks until...

My first wedding!  No not mine.. Tim and I were married over 10 yrs ago.. nope my first time I will be responsible for taking pictures at someone elses wedding.. what a scary feeling!  But I'm getting excited too.  Here are some of their engagement photos I did.. I've come a long way since then with Photoshop (thanks Coffeshop!) and with my camera skills.
