This past Saturday we went to Crockett to see Tim's mom (please continue to keep her in your prayers) and we found out that our niece Corrie was coming with baby Jordan and her hubby. We were excited to get to see them and see how big Jordan had gotten and boy did he! He is so cute! You may remember Jordan from this blog in February when he was just a month old. So I took my camera so I could take a few pictures of him for Corrie. He had just woke up when we did these so we didn't get very many but I think we got a few she will like!

Football and bull riding championship
This past Sunday Zach wanted to play outside so we all went in the back and Tim & Him began to play football throwing back and forth and then Tim being the quarterback and Zachary being the receiver. Zach had a blast!
Isn't she cute?!?
Look at our other baby..
After football it was time for the Bull Riding Championships! Tim and Zach have been bull riding for the past few Sundays. Tim is the announcer and Zach is the bull rider. Tim made Zach a calf to rope for his birthday last year well Zach has made it a bull and rides it! So normally I get to watch from inside through the window but this weekend I got to come to the Championships! It was great Zach had 3 rides but the 1st two were so good so he ended up tieing with Trevor for 1st place.. maybe he can win next year! It was cute watching them.

We have an Orange Belt in our house!
Tonight Zachary received his orange belt for Taekwondo. He was very excited about getting this belt. He has worked hard to get it and we are very proud of him!
Before the ceremony started..
I couldn't get the best picture of him getting his belt but he went down the line of coaches and they all congratulated him.
After everyone got their new belts it was time for the Blackbelt ceremony. The lights were turned out and the new Blackbelts were put in front of everyone. Each of them received a candle and then one of the coaches read a saying to them that was written by the first Grand Master.
Ms. Halifex went to each of them and gave them some words of wisdom. She is a World Champion and a great coach. We found out that she will be leaving after next week, we will really miss her!
After it was all done the kids were able to get the coaches to sign their new belts and take pictures.
Our new Orange belt! We are so proud of you Zachary!

Sam vs Central Arkansas - Parent weekend!
This past weekend was Sam Houston's 2nd game and we played a rank team Central Arkansas. The team did so good and Central Ark could never get anything going. Our defense kept stopping them, it was so good! The band also did good. They added quite a bit more to the halftime show and it was really good.
We ended up winning the game.. we are now 2-0! This weekend they are playing New Mexico there so we have the weekend off.

Zachary's first real Belt testing
Today was Zachary's first time to test for his next belt in Taekwondoe. He has been so excited since he start taking classes! He has thought since the beginning that he was going straight to black belt.. but we have explained to him that it just doesn't work that way. About a month after we started they had their first belt testing the teacher thought we should wait for him to test but wanted us to bring him so he could see how the testing would go. You may remember that was when he got this pin for leadership. So this time when they annouced testing we knew he would be able to test for real! He did so good today he was loud and he did everything with all of his might! We will have to wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to find out if we get to move to orange or not.. keep your fingers crossed for him!
Here are couple of pictures I took of him on Tuesday with my new lens! More about that later!

Happy 15th Birthday Blake!
I want to wish my Godson Blake a VERY Happy 15th Birthday! He was born while I was in college and I was so honored to be his Godmother! He was such a cute little baby and has become a handsome young man.
His mother asked me a few weeks ago if I would mine doing some pictures of him for his birthday. So we met one day after work and got a few good ones of him. These were from that day.
Not to leave his little sister out we did get a few cute one of her..
And we did get a few of them together..

Brenden's first game as a Bearkat! (Part 1)
Thursday night was Brenden's first game to march for the Sam Houston State Marching Band (do you see the grin on my face?!?!). I got off at 4:30 so I changed my clothes and met Tim and Zach at Salt Grass so we could get in one of our trucks and go to Huntsville. Tim had bought our tickets online so we picked them up at Will Call and then walked over to the endzone entrance to see if we could see Brenden before they walked in. Sure enough the band was outside waiting to walk in so we found Brenden.
I'm so mad that they are a little blurry but we were trying to hurry up and get the picture before they walked in or he got in trouble.
Here is goes walking in the stadium!
Here comes Sammy!!
And Now Brenden and the band!! They go out and play the National Anthem and the Alma Mater.
Do you see him right above the tuba??
