First game!!! - Willis vs Jeff Davis!

Can you believe we went to Brenden first game of his SENIOR year!  Because it is such a special year for him we decided that we had to put an ad in the program for him.. so we put this full page for him from us and his mom..

I think he was really surprised that we did that for him but we are all so proud of him. 

This game we had a visitor come with us.. Blake my Godson.. it was his first time to come with us.. I think he had a good time.  So we got to the game early and was so excited it was football time again!  Brenden has a new band director so we were sure how he was going to do everything but they did their normal walk around the track playing into their seats.

Great half time and of course I took pics but I think I'm going to wait and put some next week..

First day of first grade!

Today went well for both Zach (and me) he was up early and ready to go so I was happy about that.  He decided he was going to wear his jeans, John Deere shirt, belt and boots but when we put the boots on we found out that he out grew them like he outgrew everything else this summer!  So he settled for tennis shoes... but I think he looked cute!  I picked him up from school and he told me that he had a great day and was on an E which was great. He was ready for his snack of cheesesticks and chocolate malt from Sonic..one of his favorite snacks!

As I started working on Brenden's senior pictures I told him that if he had any ideas or if there was anything that he wanted to make sure we got to let me know.  So when he came to me one day and said I would like to have a picture with my sister and brother I was so proud of him.  It is something that I have been wanting to do for him for a long time.  I thought it was sweet that he would want to have something like that.  So Saturday morning we worked on some Senior pictures for him at the stadium and then Saturday night we decided to get the kids together and meet at the park in The Woodlands. So this is what we came up with..

It was a great day and we got lots of really good pictures that I hope Brenden will cherish.

Cookies!

Today was a pretty easy day...we slept late and then went shopping at Wally world then came home ate lunch relaxed before our big day tomorrow.. so this afternoon I thought it would be prefect to make some cookies!  So we got the sugar cookies out and the sprinkles out and the colored icing so we could draw on the cookies!  Zach had a blast and the cookie were so good!

So it is all football in my house these days we have little football helmets everywhere and we are constantly playing Madden on the Wii.. So after we got back from Texans Training Camp I got online to the Texans website and found out that kids can join the Toro's Kid Club for free or if you pay $15 you are apart of the

It is not a bad deal.. well the other day I went to the mailbox and he got a card from my mother and father-in-law for his birthday and then a letter from his Kindergarten teacher (we had an assignment that we had to write two letters to her during the summer).  Zach was so excited to get mail.. then the next day I went back to the mailbox because I had some pictures coming in and what did we also find..but more mail for Zachary!  It was his package from Toro!  We opened it up and we had all kinds of things from him!  So the card that he received says that he is in the kids club and he is a MVP member and it had his name on it so I was reading to him and told him all that it said.. and without missing a beat he goes....Toro knows my NAME!! I looked at Tim and we laughed when he walked away I go it was worth the $15 for that.. it was so funny that he really thinks Toro knows his name..

Hannah's birthday!

Friday night we drove up to Palestine for a special girls birthday party... Yes Miss. Hannah is turning 12!  They had her party early as her real birthday is the first day of school down here (Aug 23).  We got there just in time for some cake.. after the cake it was time for some swimming!  Hannah had a bunch of girls invited and then they were going to spend the night (Bless Sherry and Alan).  Zach had a blast and loved being only one of the three boys invited!  Sherry had gotten him a life vest thing so he was able to go to the deep end with everyone.  I think all of the kids had a blast and I know little Rylan had a blast once he got his swim trunks on!

We had a blast swimming and then we got to take little Rylan back to the house.  We stayed around a little bit then it was on to Elkhart to Mark & Melissa's where we stayed the weekend.  It was great not having to come back home so late.  Then that next morning I was able to got to Cavendars and get some jeans for Zach and do some other shopping around town.  I did get to see Marla (Hi Marla!) and give her a bunch of things I have been getting for photoshop.  I always enjoy getting together with her and just talking about photography and so much more!  Sunday we came home early to get ready for the week.  It was a great weekend and we got lots of rest!

Birthday pictures..

I decided we needed to get some new pictures of Zach (like I don't have enough).  I needed some good pictures of him I'm always taking casual pictures of him.  So I took him to Market Street in The Woodlands. We got a few good pictures even though I had to deal with him telling me that the sun was in his eyes.

Then when we were done he got to put his bathing suit on and play in the water!!

After that it was on to Chuck E Cheese!  I surprised him because I had called Sandra to see if she and the kids wanted to meet us there and they did!

Then it was on to Toys R Us.. Nolan needed a new backpack so we followed along..it was fun the boys loved the electronics they were so cute watching the previews.

Zach and I then went to Frost to pick up some cupcakes for that night..If you have not been to this place you have to go! It is in the back of The Woodlands and it is SO GOOD!

That night Gram-maw, DziaDzia and brother came over and we had BBQ sandwiches and cupcakes! We also opened a few more presents!

Happy 6th Birthday Zachary!

My baby is turning 6 today.  I'm so honored to be his mom, he is so sweet, kind and loving.  I'm so lucky to have gotten him as my little boy.  Every year I do a little video for him with pictures I have taken of him through out the year.  Here is this years... the last song is one of his favorites and he sings it around here all of the time.. Astros Game with Gram-maw and DziaDzia!

Gram-maw called me at lunch today and asked if Zachary would like to go to the Astros game with her and Dzia Dzia tonight and then she also said she had a extra ticket so Tim or I could also go, well Tim worked late last night so I went with them and boy did we have FUN!  I think it surprised them that he got so into the game and knew what was going on most of the time.  He was yelling out to the players it was cute.. we were winning until the very en and we ended up lossing 4-2 to the Braves.. but it was a good game and we are glad Gram-maw asked us to go with them!
