Photoshop...again

Ok I have been learning a LOT on photoshop lately so much that I'm behind in taking pictures off my camera, putting them on snapfish/walgreens which makes me behind in ordering them and most importantly updating this blog with things that are happening around here!  Anyways I'm just so excited about everything I have learned I've had this program for six months and have bought two books to help me learn how to use it more then I have learned on my on which if I can say so myself I think I have done well.. but my friend Diana (aka Kimmy) told me about this website and boy I have learned so much!  So I need to plug it again.. CoffeeShop and I need to say I got a lot of amazing brushes from Pixels and Ice Cream and I also got some stuff from Kevin and Amanda to make my new watermark for my pictures..what do you think of it see it at the top of the last picture.. I thought the crown was cute for Tim and the high heel was perfect for me!
So come back tomorrow.. I will try to add some pictures of my baby and tell you all the fun things we did last weekend and this past weekend.. I will try to stay off of photoshop!!

Conroe Go-Texan Parade

Brenden and the Willis band was in the Conroe Go-Texan Parade this past Saturday.  Zach and I had a blast watching it and cheering the Willis band on.  I took LOTS of pictures and with me learning so much with photoshop it is taking me a bit to get through them.. but here are a few of Brenden and the band.

Learning about actions in Photoshop

Wow I have been learning a bunch tonight about actions in Photoshop and boy are they fun to use!  They are some "recipes" as to what to do to get photoshop to do the things I have seen other photographers to on their pictures.  Here are a few examples of what I have done.

The original photo

The new photo

and then I rounded the corners with an action I found!!!

How exciting and fun at least for me!  I knew this thing could do more then what I was doing with it I just didn't know what to do!  But I'm learning!

Hope you all enjoy what I learn also.. I leave you with one more example...

with color boost

ok while I was down loading this I did one more that I need to share

with some texture.. how cool is that...click on it to make it bigger so you can really see it.
(you will see more of where this came from hopefully tomorrow)

Let me say where I got these actions from...

And thanks Diana for telling me about this!

Super bowl XLIV!!

I love the Super bowl, hate that our Texans are not there but love watching this game!!  Hopefully next year we will be able to be there but until then we will watch the Colts and Saints go head to head.  I would like to see Manning win another Super bowl but I do think it is neat for the Saints to be there too.  We have watched football all day today and I can't wait for the next few hours to watch more and to watch those commericals!

(Look what I did on photoshop!!)

Guess what time it is!!!

That's right it is T-ball time!!!  Our original first practice was supposed to be Thursday but because of the rain the fields were closed so yesterday was the first.  Zach was so excited all day yesterday as we got all of our stuff done.  In fact Friday night before I dropped him off with Gram-maw and DziaDzia he told me to make sure I had his stuff to go with him he thought Gram-maw was going to get him ready for practice but I told him that practice was late so I would pick him up and we would do some stuff before practice.

Anyways, practice was good we got to meet our new team which consist of 7 boys and 1 little girl.  I think they were all excited to be there.  This year we are the Cleveland Indians.  Boy what a differece a year makes this year we are actually with the right age group so Zach looks like he really fits in.  He is not the smallest one either!  You can tell he has gain some strength also.  This year we are hitting to the outer part of the baseline, which I think shocked his coach.  It seems that this team was a team last year and I think there are 3 of us that are new.  Zach was last at bat and when he first hit he hit it to the pitcher then that second hit was out there.  We were so proud of him and you could tell he was proud too and like I said the coach was surprised.  His throwing has improved also you can tell he has control over his throws too.  He was on third base and there was a boy on 2nd and they were throwing back and forth to each other and he could throw it the legth, some times he would throw to the left or right of the player but he was getting the distance.  Then when the coach brought them in a little bit Zach was able to not over throw the coach.  There were some that always wanted to throw their full strength.  Over all it looks like a good team.

Oh and I want to send out a message to my other baseball player I love to watch...

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is Tim's birthday, we hope he had a great day!  We got him a sugar cookie (cake - as Zach says) & a balloon.  He also got his new 4 wheeler but he has had it a couple weeks now.

Grave Digger, up close and personnal

Tim and I surprised Zachary on Friday with a visit to see one of his favorite Monster Trucks.  DziaDzia told Gram-maw to call me and tell me that Grave Digger was going to be at UTI off of 45 so Tim and I thought that would be fun to surprise him.  So we called school to change him to a car rider and picked him up.  When he got in the truck he said he made an "S" so we told him good that we had a surprise for him.. He was so excited and kept asking us what his surprise was but we didn't tell him.  We finally got to UTI and there he was right in the middle of the road. Zach didn't see him at first but when we got closer he saw him and got so excited.  Unfortunitly they were getting ready to put him up so we didn't get to take a picture close to it but it didn't matter to him.  We ended up watching them change the tires to make it fit in the trailer.  It was neat to see them back it right into the trailer.  I hated that they were already putting it up the thing we saw said it was going to be there until 6 so we thought we got there in time to really see it but, it didn't matter to Zach he still loved seeing it.

Zach checking out Grave Digger!

100th Day of School

100 days can you believe it.. Zach has been a Kindergartener for that long.  It seems like just yesterday I was blogging about his first day of school and now it has been 100 days later.  He has changed so much since that first day.  His vocabulary has just in creased and you never know what he is going to tell you.  He is spelling and writing paragraphs now.. yes I said paragraphs.. in Kindergarten.  They had a big day on Thursday with the 100 days here are just a few things they made. (oh and Zach is telling me that they now have 101 days down!)

What have we been doing...

Ok so last weekend we were busy not only did we see the Monster Trucks but we also went to Kaylee's 1st birthday party.  We had a great time and Zach enjoyed getting to see many of his cousins we don't get to see all of the time.  Kaylee was so cute while opening presents she would look over at me and smile like she knew I had the camera and I was going to take a picture of her and I did.. poor baby I've been taking pictures of her since she was a baby so she knows that when I see her I will be taking her picture.  I got some cute pictures of her this time with cake on her face.. once she got a good taste of the cake she got into getting it all over her.  I also got some really cute pictures of the cousins..

This past weekend we took Zach to Tim's parents to stay the weekend.. well we left him with them and went to go see our friends Alan and Sherry and eat dinner with them.  We enjoyed seeing them and the girls.. it is hard to believe that the next time we see them they will have a little brother.. still no name for him but they are thinking that if he is not here by the 8th they will be enducing.. I keep saying he is going to be born on Saturday which is Tim's birthday.. I think that would be neat.. we will see!  I just can't wait to see him!  Anyways when we got back to there house Tim's parents called and well Zach wanted to see us.. so we ended up going back to get him.  Saturday we did lots of shopping I needed some new clothes for the new job (did you know I got at new one...I do and started today and so far so good).  Sunday we went baseball shopping.. Zach needed almost everything!   After shopping we came home put our pjs back on and relaxed.
