Meagan's game

So after we left the wine fest on Saturday I called Sandra because Zach was dying for someone to come and spend the night with him so we thought maybe Nolan could come well.. they were going to see Meagan perform at half time at the Atsocasita vs The Woodlands game.  Meagan is Sandra's niece or Susan's daughter.. or more importantly my cousin! hehe  Which she was telling her friends that her cousin Nolan was there and I told her you have three more cousins here too.. Zach, me and baby Kaylee (Nolan's sister) ok did you get all of that!

Anyways she had attended a clinic with the drill team and now they were going to perform for half time (this was her 3rd year to do this).  So the game started and everything was going well then halftime well it was starting to look like rain but they let The Woodlands drill team and band perform then the announcement we hoped we wouldn't here.. we had to get under the stands because of lightening!  Poor Meagan wasn't going to get to perform..so we all got under the stands (they were concrete) and stood it out.. then they finally let us back to watch the game we thought they were going to let the girls perform after the game but they only let the band.. it was sad that the girls didn't get a chance to perform.. but we had a great time seeing everyone!

Brenden's gig at Montgomery Wine Fest

Saturday Brenden had a gig at the Montgomery Wine Fest.. he is in a jazz band out of school and they were invited to come and play again this year.  It was SO GOOD!  They put on a great show and I was so proud him and all of his friends.. I got a little sad when I looked up there and saw this man playing his sax.. it is hard to believe that he was a little boy not so long ago.. I'm sure I've said that on this blog before and I can bet I will say it again because it is just so hard to believe he is a Senior this year and he will be going off to college soon.... so we are trying to make everything he does so we don't miss anything.  This was so great seeing him and he had a few solos that were so good..

Here are some pictures and videos!!

Zach decided to sit with Maddie (Brenden's little sister) aren't they cute!

Zach at the farm

We took dad's trailer back to the farm on our way to Brenden's gig and I had to get a few pictures of Zach with..

and Zach decided that since the cows at Mark & Melissa came to him to eat and let him touch them that these cows should do the same..

Willis vs Kingwood Park

We had a Thursday night game this past week we played Kingwood Park at Turner Stadium in Humble.. it was a GREAT GAME!!  We were just planning on staying until half time but it was so good we stayed to watch them go to victory!!  This was a great time to start winning as it was the first district game.  Half time was so good too!  They added a bunch to the show and it was great! But our favorite part of half time had to be watching the band come off the field and the Kingwood drill team standing right in front of them.. you could see Brenden yelling MOVE, GET OUT OF THE WAY, MOVE.. it was so funny!

Here are a few pictures from the night..

This week... Homecoming!!!  Wait till you see the mums!

Blake's first game

Today was Blake's first football game of the season.. Zach decided that since he had green today that we should all go and see him.. so glad he was on green because I wanted to go to the game!!  The game was played at Bear Branch which is the middle school off of 2978 by Woodlands Pkwy so it was not very far for us to get to.  Blake was number 85 this week, unfortunitly he only got to play in one play but he did very well.  I can't wait to see him in another game soon hopefully he will get to play a little more next time.

They ended up lossing but that is ok it we just their first game.
