The Richmonds come for a visit

We were so excited to find out that Alan, Sherry, Hannah and Kara were coming to visit us last night. We haven't seen them since August! The girls have just gotten so big! Now Kara is only inches away from being as tall as me! They are getting excited about their little brother coming (and so are we!!) We can't believe next time we see them we will get to see him also. I always try to get a picture of all three of the kids and this year was no different!

Snow!

Christmas night, Tim, Zach and I went to the deerlease and to our surprise when we got there that night was... Snow.... we had to get out and take a picture right then..



There was so much of it on the side of the road. We decided when we woke up the next morning we would play a little bit and we did!

Christmas 2009

Christmas Eve we went to church at my and dad's church then it was on to our house this year, we had mom & dad, Deb & Jon over. Tim grilled steak and potatoes with salad.. YUM-O, Tim really out did himself on dinner. Then it was on to opening presents. Zach was SO READY for that!





Zach opened this and goes...muddy boots!! He was so excited


After they left the boys got on the couch and watched the Christmas Story and put out cookies for Santa..





Then it was on to bed so the big man could come and see us.

We figured Zach would be up early but we ended up having to wake him and Brenden up. Boy was he surprised when he saw what Santa left.







Besides the DSi that Zach got this was probably his favorite thing he got...





Yes he got a skateboard..it was from Santa..

After we opened presents and ate breakfast Brenden took Zach and me over to mom & dad's and we then went down to my aunt's house. It was nice to see the family, got some pictures of my godson Blake playing with Zach and then one good one of him.

Then it was off to my Granny's house.. I was so surprised when I opened the door and my cousin Anna was there.. it is always a treat to see her since we don't see each other but maybe once a year if that but she usually emails me and tells me she is coming but this time she didn't email but come to find out she was surprised too.. my cousin Melissa sent her a ticket. There was also my aunt and uncle which we also only see about once a year. So we took lots of pictures of all of us.

Aunt Deb's Babies

Aunt Deb and Uncle Jon watched Zach last Friday.. Zach had a blast playing Wii with them in fact he is still telling me about it! He also had a blast with their new puppy Bleaux.. he is pretty cute and boy will he be big when he grows up! Here are a few pictures I took of all of her babies when I went to pick him up.

Tooth Fairy

Ok I know this is almost 2 weeks late but I wanted you to know what the Tooth Fairy brought Zach..

Here is a picture of him putting the tooth under the pillow.. he didn't want to keep it in the Ziplock bag but I wanted to make sure the Tooth Fairy would be able to find it.. it was so small!

Fancy Restaurant

Yesterday we had went to Walgreens to pick up a few pictures I sent, well when we were leaving I decided that we needed to go and check the mail so instead of getting out on 2920 I went around to the red light on Kuykendaul and as we were getting there Zach goes.. I want to go to the Fancy Restaurant... I said what Fancy Restaurant do you want to go to.. he says BWs3 (Buffalo Wild Wings)...I started laughing and told him that BWs3 was not a Fancy Restaurant. So when we got home he told Tim the same thing we laughed and told him that he would need to wait maybe we could go on Sunday when there would be more football on. He LOVES the chili cheese as he calls it and I think he loves the fact that they have sports on every TV in there.

All I want for Christmas is my one front tooth..

Yes that is right we are one tooth less...The tooth fairy will be making a visit to our house tonight..Zach lost his tooth I'm guessing at school today. When I went to pick him up he looked at me and smiled and I said you lost your tooth.. where is it? Then he says I lost it.. in the van..well then he tells me that he was sucking on his sleeves and it came out (gross I know!) I'm not sure if this was at school or on the van. I got a couple of different stories. So I was a little upset that he lost the tooth but I was so excited for him I didn't let it show. So we went up to the front of the school and we were talking to Ms. Cassie and she said do you think it might be on the van? So went out to look.. well there were a couple of white rocks and then.. we found it (thank goodness!) So we will have to wait and see what the tooth fairy brings us tonight. Here is a picture of our toothless boy.. cute huh!



Ok I have more to talk about..

This morning Zach was so excited because it was Polar Express day at school so they got to wear their PJS to school. It just so happened I had ate lunch with my old boss and some other old co-workers of mine well he had read my blog and saw that we were looking for some more helmet pjs in the next size well guess what he found on his side of town..2 pair!! So Zach wore a pair today...Thanks Mr. Paul!



Also I have been meaning to put a picture of Zach and his favorite hoody and current favorite college football team..





That's right he loves the longhorns..I was so surprised the first time he told me he wanted a longhorn hoody but we gave in and got him one.. it is cute.

Ok last story.. Tonight was the daycare's open house they had some people there selling some different products but the big thing was Santa was coming. So because it was going to be 6 before he came I picked up Zach and took him home and changed him out of his pjs and into some jeans etc. Then we went back up there. The santa they had was so awsome Zach told him what he wanted and then told Santa that he needed to tell his friend the tooth fairy to come to his house tonight (If you have seen the Santa Clause movies with Tim Allen then you understand this.. in the movies he is friends with the tooth fairy, Father Time, The Easter Bunny, etc) So Santa told him that he would tell him to make sure to come by the house tonight. Then he had this pretty blue ball and he told Zach to make a wish and then blow into the ball and it was gone.. it was really neat and Zach loved it.

Brenden's Christmas concert

Tuesday night was Brenden's Christmas concert. He and the rest of them did so well. He first performed in the Jazz band and in one of the songs he had a solo. Then he performed in the wind ensemble. Zach enjoyed getting to see brother. We also got lucky enough to see his class ring.. my baby is getting so big! It looked great! I will try to get a picture of it when we see him over Christmas.. but here are some pictures from the concert.
