Astro Photo

So for the past two years I have taken photos of all of the kids on Zach's team and then made every player a 5X7 of a photo with them and then usually would add their names to it.  This is my one little special thing I do for all of them.  This year was no different.. here is what what did.

Ms. Caroline

A couple of Fridays ago on my day off I went and took pictures of a 7 day old named Caroline.  Her mom and dad used to work with Debbie.  When her mom was pregnant with her Debbie would tell me all about her.  She named her ladybug so Debbie and I decided that we were going to have to make her a tutu out of red and black.  So I was excited to get the chance of taking some pictures of her in it.

Thanks C Family for letting me capture this special time in your life!

oh my goodness... look what I learned to do!

Ok the post below has some great pictures of my cousins twins and daughter but I'm following a blog that is holding a FREE workshop this week and lesson one was about Exposure and Color correction.. well I decided to try it out on a few of the pictures.. check it out.. make sure to scroll down to see the SOOC (straight out of the camera) pictures...

wow what a diffence.. I've always used the curves but this thought me what the eye droppers on the side do if you have Photoshop you will understand.. so awsome!!  Can't wait to see what else I learn!

Learning about actions in Photoshop

Wow I have been learning a bunch tonight about actions in Photoshop and boy are they fun to use!  They are some "recipes" as to what to do to get photoshop to do the things I have seen other photographers to on their pictures.  Here are a few examples of what I have done.

The original photo

The new photo

and then I rounded the corners with an action I found!!!

How exciting and fun at least for me!  I knew this thing could do more then what I was doing with it I just didn't know what to do!  But I'm learning!

Hope you all enjoy what I learn also.. I leave you with one more example...

with some texture.. how cool is that...click on it to make it bigger so you can really see it.
(you will see more of where this came from hopefully tomorrow)

Let me say where I got these actions from...

And thanks Diana for telling me about this!

Super bowl XLIV!!

I love the Super bowl, hate that our Texans are not there but love watching this game!!  Hopefully next year we will be able to be there but until then we will watch the Colts and Saints go head to head.  I would like to see Manning win another Super bowl but I do think it is neat for the Saints to be there too.  We have watched football all day today and I can't wait for the next few hours to watch more and to watch those commericals!

(Look what I did on photoshop!!)
