Zachary the Deer Slayer

This year Zach has been practicing hard to get his first deer.  We have taken him to the lease twice already and not seen anything for him to get but that all changed Saturday morning.. Tim decided to let his dad take him to the stand..he had been waiting to go with Zach all season but wanted to wait until after he had gotten his first one but Tim decided maybe it would be neat for him to shoot his first with his Paw-Paw.

Tim came and woke me up and told me to get dressed and come with him.  He told me he got two!  He got the doe first at 7 then stayed around and got the buck an hour later.  When we got to them Zach had a smile so big and he couldn't wait to tell us how he got his two deer.  First we got the doe on the truck it was close where we could get to it then we drove close to the buck but had to get him out with the 4-wheeler.  I tell you what all 3 of those boys (they were all like little boys) were just smiling.

Ok this next picture well I had to put it in Zach on his 4 wheeler bringing in the deer (don't worry his Paw-Paw actually drove it in to camp..)

Nanny was so proud!  He was telling her all about it.

Jordan

This has been a hard couple of weeks we got home from Daytona and found out that Tim's mom was battling cancer.  She is in Stage 4 right now and we are all hoping for the best.  This past weekend we went up to see her and to our surprise we got to meet the newest member of our family Jordan.  He is the son of my niece Corrie (Yes I'm a great aunt and this is not my first I have another great nephew - that is 8 hours older then Zach and a great niece) Anyways I did a few pictures for her since all of hers have been on her phone.

Zach loved him and said he was his babysitter...he held him for a long time and didn't want to give him up!

Grandpa and grandson

I had to make sure I got him with his nanny.

Please keep her in your prayers.
