Daddy got a deer!

Tim went to the deer lease this week and came back with a deer..I will spare you the bad picture but Zach did take a cute one with it that I do have to share.



Zach was a big helper, helping Tim get all of his stuff out of the truck.



Tim started to put up our lights.. no picture yet but when he is done I will add one, he had his little helper for one side.

I decided to make a sweet potatoe pie, I hope it taste good this was the first one that I had ever made and I got the recipe off our food network.



I also made some cookies for Zach to eat tomorrow. I also used my new Southern Living platter.. and I love it.. you can put ribbon through the holes.. see how cute it is..

We finally found them!!!

Ok Zach has these pjs that he LOVES and everytime they are cleaned he has to wear them. So he has had two pair so far and now the 2nd pair is getting to look like high waters so we have been on the look out for a new pair. We usually buy them from Kohls but we have not been able to find them in the store or online but... while at Kohls yesterday we found one pair and it just so happened to be his size!!! We were SO excited! I plan on looking to try to get him the next size for when these are outgrown.. We need a 6/7 let me know if you see them at a Kohls near you!!

Busy Weekend

I have probably called the blog that before (and I will probably do it again in the future!) but it really was a pretty busy weekend. Friday when I got home Tim took all the stuff down for the the Christmas tree (yes you read that right) so Zach and I began to change the living room from fall to Christmas.. it is still a work in progress since I need something for over the fire place I had a wreath but I think it is time for a new one or something else. So that all came up.







Saturday we had a few things we needed to do along with we went and checked out the new HEB. It was nice but it was very busy! Then we got to baby sit baby Steven who is just a little sweetie! He is only two months old and he is the son to two of my co-workers. My company had a holiday party over here but the house and I just didn't want to go so when they said they were going I offered watching him. Boy did we have fun with him, we all had him smiling and talking to us. I would put him in front of football and he would just get excited. Him mom had him all dressed up so we could get some pictures of him..here are a couple.. isn't he so cute!





Today we got up early and Zach & I went to church, then it was on to shopping.. he really needed some new jeans and long sleeve shirts so we went to Old Navy and got him what he needed we had a bunch of other places I wanted to go to along with going to see Santa!! Zach told him that he wanted a DS.. we will see if he gets it.. but he did take a cute picture with him. I can't believe that he looks so much older in this one, when I put it in the Christmas frame I always use I saw the two last ones in it and he has just really changed and it starting to look like a boy..where did my baby go!

Deer lease and family photos

This weekend we went to the deer lease. It was great to have Brenden come along with us so I thought it would be a perfect time for us to do family photos since it is so pretty out there. We have never had a Christmas card with a picture of all four us but this year we will. I also got some individual pictures of all of us..oh and there was some hunting too! Tim's dad got a nine point.. I don't have a great picture that won't gross some people out so I will spare y'all a picture of that. Zach woke up for both morning hunts.. what a little hunter he is! We saw some deer but no one else took any shots.

Kindergarten Pictures

Ok here is Zachary's Kindergarten pictures.. I think they turned out cute but there is one thing that at first bothered me but then when he saw them and giggled, I began to really love them..

You will notice a little thing on his shirt.. is it a brand.. nope.. that would be a Halloween sticker that Hayden B gave him... when asked why didn't you take it off for your picture...because I like it.. do you hear him giggling the whole time.. It was quite funny and cute..

National Honor Society

Tonight we had the honor of getting to watching Brenden be inducted into the National Honor Society. We were so proud of him he is just growing up so fast and becoming such a grown up. He has been looking at colleges and has decided that he would like to be a band director "when he grows up". Right now he is looking at Baylor, Texas Tech, North Texas, Sam Houston and University of Houston all of these schools have good music programs. Tonight will definitely help with getting into these schools.

10 year anniversay!

Well 10 years have come and gone and boy have we changed and so has our family Brenden was just 6 back then and now he is 16 almost 17 and a junior in high school...and we have our mircle child Zachary who we many times never thought we would ever have in our lives.. we have had good days and bad days.. we have lived the vows for richer for poorer and in sickness and in health.. and we are still in love with each other even more then when we got married..

So what do you think we did tonight to celebrate this great day.. let me give you a hint...

that's right we were at the Willis vs Huntsville game.. and for those of you who may not know Tim and I got married in Huntsville so it seemed like it was the perfect place for us to play tonight..

Blake's game

Monday night we got to go and see my godson Blake's football game. Here are few pictures from the game.. He did so good and they won which was an added bonus!







They weren't the best pictures but I was playing around using a lot of different settings.. night time is not my fave to shot.. but I was really proud of Blake he really did a good job.

After the game Tim, Zach and I went to dinner with Shelly, Bruce, Blake and Skylar we all had a great time eating and talking... Thanks McElroys for a great night!

Nolan and Kaylee come to visit!

Sunday we text Sands to see if Nolan and Kaylee wanted to come and play with Zachary. They ended up coming over for a bit and Nolan and Zach had a blast playing monster trucks and of course Wii Little League baseball..



They also had a band going.. boy were they funny and cute!



And of course I had to take some pictures of baby Kaylee as Zach calls her... she is getting so big! Sands said she started crawling last week and boy did she.. she was after everything on the floor and jabber.. boy she was just too cute!
